The_Dude_Abides
Hi guys, I've been looking up weather or not Lemieux ever wore a Pro Player jersey with the 2000 patch. According to NHL Uniform Database, the Pro Player was used in the 1999-2000 season. His return from retirement was in December of 2000. So did the Penguins start off the 2000-2001 season using Pro Player jerseys? I'm guessing no but would like to be sure. Thank you!
Devilsguy
I believe them, along with the rest of the league, switched to CCM for their home whites and Koho for their dark away jerseys in the 2000-01 season. I am pretty sure a number of teams only wore the Pro Players in the 99-2000 season. And I am not sure if the Penguins even wore Pro Player in 99-2000 to begin with. I know they wore Starter in the late 90's. Pro Player made replicas for all the teams.
LAK74
The Penguins definitely wore ProPlayer in 99/00. And Lemieux did not wear one in a game.
