Kingofkings
I was looking on the kings official instagram and saw a few close up pics of Jeff Carter, Tanner Pearson, and Dustin Brown wearing jerseys with name bars during the first few away games during preseason. Does anyone know whats up with that? Edited October 17, 2014 by Kingofkings
dsl135
My guess is it was simply for preseason so that the names could be removed and the jerseys re-used.
Kingofkings
I was thinking that same thing.
dsl135
Looking at the Kings-Coyotes game, they don't appear to have nameplates.
Kingofkings
I was a Big fan of the font they used on the practice jerseys for frozen fury. Looked like the names were sewn together in one piece, it would be awesome if they did a font like that on this years SS jersey.
LAK74
During the preseason, the Kings use a special set of jerseys with nameplates, not just on the road jerseys, but also for the home ones. On the road they travel with the preseason jerseys as spares, which is why you will occasionally see a player using a nameplated jersey during a regular season road game.
