StayFrosty
In light of the recent discussion of Premier Replica jerseys, I thought I'd ask: What would you rather have, a replica jersey with the name of a good player on it, or an authentic jersey with the name of a not-so-good player? I'm starting to really notice the greatness of authentics vs. replicas and I'm considering only getting authentics from now on. The thing is, I'll usually have to settle for a jersey from Meigray and I won't be able to afford a great player, most likely. Not sure what to do. LAK74
You're the Oilers fan, right? Why not try to get an on-ice authentic 2.0 Oilers blank jersey, home or away, from KevChan777 on eBay for only $250? If you can get it in the size you want, you can have a real authentic and have it customized with whatever player you want. http://www.ebay.com/itm/NHL-Reebok-7287-Edmonton-Oilers-Authentic-Jersey-Customization-avaliable-/150977843703?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_2&hash=item2326fb11f7
StayFrosty
I'm not really looking to buy another Oilers jersey right now, I already have 5 of them. But thanks. In the summer I might buy another Oilers jersey off Meigray.... for Oilers they have some OK players. I just wanted to know for in general and in the future. I buy from other teams too that aren't so lucky with Meigray.
DropkickMurphy8
I'm fine with replicas. I don't feel like spending a ton of money on one jersey when I can get 5 jerseys for the same price.
dsl135
I go back and forth. When I can get a great deal on a preseason jersey from Meigray to strip, I'll do it. But at the same time, I own tons of replicas that I enjoy wearing just as much.
lfcjari37
Depends on the jersey for me. If its going to cost a fortune to get an Authentic like a Flyers or Rangers Winter Classic jersey, then a replica is fine. Otherwise id prefer to get Authentic if possible. BPerkins
Watch the MeiGray clearance section for blanks under $100 ... then get it customized with the player you want. Between the clearance and patience with ebay and other retail sites, there are plenty of authentics at reasonable prices.
