akteon
Hi Folks, Does someone of you get any information from Steiner about the Rangers game worn jersey Programme this season? i wrote some mails (Noah), but didn't get any answer. Thx and cheers, manu I think Noah left the company. The rep I now get e-mails from is Joe Groglio (Jgroglio@steinersports.com).
CJ Matthews
I get emails from the same guy. I was basically told that this year there would be no team issued jerseys, and the cheapest jersey would be $800. The only jersey that went cheaper was Biron's 1st set jersey cause he didn't play any games in it, and that went for like 500-600.
Calciomania
then some jerseys were already sold this season? What about the premiere classic jerseys? i need only a winter classic one and i had fixed that with Noah:(
CJ Matthews
They already started selling the jerseys used in Europe and the first set of jerseys used in the USA as well. Nothing yet on Winter Classic jerseys as far as I know.

Brilliant!
If you saw the list of pricing I saw for the first set of Rangers jerseys from this year, you wouldn't want to get any of them.
Calciomania
i got an email from him..Noah left Steiner:( but thanks to you for the right mail addy. i wanted so bad a Europe jersey because i saw the game against Zug here live. akteon
I wonder if Steiner will even get Winter Classic gamers. I think they are handled by the NHL who still uses MeiGray to run the auctions for those. Granted I don't think there's anyway in hell I'd be able to swing a Winter Classic gamer, but if I did I'd much rather my money going to MeiGray than Steiner. Brilliant!
Nah, I have it on good authority that Steiner will be handling the Winter Classic ones. And from what I've seen of the first set so far, the prices will be OUTRAGEOUS. Brad Richards is a $6K+ jersey, huh? Mark my words. The Rangers will be on par with the Blackhawks when it comes to jersey prices very soon.
Calciomania
i'm awaiting a list right now...if i receive it...i will post it:) i can imagine that players like Richards, Gaborik or King Henrik will be in "outer space" with prices:D so i will go for a 4th line player:D i think the jerseys from the winter classic will split up like in earlier years. One set will be handled by Steiner (Rangers) or Meigray (Flyers) and the other set will be on NHL Auctions handled by meigray. that is what i expect. NYRangers_fan1994
Not that I think I'm going to buy one, seeing as how expensive people are saying they're selling for, but where does Steiner sell the Rangers jerseys? I've gone to their website and all I see are some signed replicas from Leetch, Messier, Richter, and Ludqvist, and a few old blank ones. Is it only at MSG, some other website I'm missing, or do you have to call/email them directly?
Brilliant!
They had a lot of them on the website toward the end of last year. I think they just lag in updating it to be honest. But, I'm pretty sure the majority of their sales come from direct contact though. There's usually a couple jerseys available at the Garden but I really can't elaborate on that more because the one chance I got to check out the new concourse this year, the place was an effing zoo. CJ Matthews
I believe I saw a Fedotenko and Christensen jersey from last year for sale on the concourse.

cowboys
-when you deal with Steiners thats what to expect they have cornered the market with the Rangers Glad the Flyers use Miegray
akteon
Not only does Steiner way overcharge, there's not the same level of detail. They just slap a cheap hologram sticker on the jersey. I miss the MeiGray days for the Rangers greatly.
NYIJM29
Lol. You can buy any Islander not named Tavares for less (with the exception of Richards). Sucking has its benefits!!!
billnchristy
My what great big prices you have Grandma. Buy an old one from Meigray during the winter sale...hell, buy 4.
enzo269
Steiner has been certainly more expensive than Meigray with the gamers and as someone mentioned, they use direct contact with their customers to sell most of the game worns.. I bought Mats Zuccarello's gamer from Stockholm game against Los Angeles. Photo matched with ease... Beautiful sweater with NHL Premier patch on the sleeve.. My guy at Steiner, Nick has been very good and helpful, but so was Jason at Meigray.. By the way, Steiner doenst even use a hologram any longer.. They send you a letter of authenticity and a Steiner tamperproof barcode in neck of jersey... /Users/Enzo/Desktop/photo.JPG/Users/Enzo/Desktop/photo2.JPG
Calciomania
if someone wants a Winter CLassic from the Rangers this year it will be very expensive...one set will be sold by Steiner and one set will be for auction at NHL Auctions by BArry and Meigray. does someone can remember prices from the winter classic auction last year? I have in my mind that they are gone very high last year....
enzo269
The NYR game worn winter classics will certainly be at a premium if they look good. If they are anything like those horrible fakes floating around on ebay, I wont be buying one...
Calciomania
i like the last style that was posted on icethetics... http://www.icethetics.info/blog/2011/11/24/rangers-classic-jersey-coming-1128.html i hope it will be something like that:) but if you want one of these...i think you have to calculate 1500$ and up...
