Plastic on back of emblems

Hello. Long time lurker here. Just a quick question.

I recently bought a new Oilers 30th Anniversary Patch and I'm looking to get it put on my new 3rd jersey.

There's a hard plastic coating on the back and I was wondering how to remove it? I'm assuming it has to be removed if it's to be stitched on to a jersey. Any suggestions?

Thanks.

Thanks. I guess I didn't quite go back far enough to see this post.

Thanks again. I'll try one of these methods.

Post is pinned right here on page 1. :stickhndl:

Didn't noticed the sticky's before. Sorry.

But put the crest in boiling water definitely works well. Thanks guys.

It's okay. We all make mistakes. Go to the penalty box. Sit for a 5 minute misconduct.

Please note, I wasn't trying to be a jerk in my post. Was just offering up information. Upon reading it, I can see how it could have been seen that way.

Any way you look at it, welcome to the board. Hope your stay is enjoyable.

It's ok. No offense taken and thank you!
