lafountain
Looks like they are naming the 3 finalists for each award one at a time instead of all at once. 2008 Vezina finalists. Evgeni Nabokov Martin Brodeur Henrik Lundqvist I think Nabby will win it, but all 3 are very good choices. The rest of the award finalist announcement schedule is as follows. 22 Apr - Norris Trophy 23 Apr - Calder 24 Apr - Lady Byng 25 Apr - Selke 29 Apr - Hart TBA - Jack Adams
ZoomZoom18
I'm curious about the Calder, Adams, and Masterton Trophy candidates. Down here in Phoenix, Mueller for the Calder and Gretzky for the Adams is what I'm hoping to see. Gretzky amazed us all down here with what the young Coyotes were able to do. I don't know if Mueller would win it, or Gretzky for that matter, but they both deserve consideration. I always find the Masterton Trophy interesting. They've had some good and interesting perserverance stories surround candidates.

Dasle
I'm dissapointed that Gonchar wasn't a Norris finalist, but I can't say I'm surprised either. Regardless, Lidstrom will win though.

akteon
Ovechkin will win the Hart, because a t-shirt told me so. I'd love for Lundqvist to win the Vezina - but I don't think it'll happen (although he did lead the league in shut-outs).

JeffB
I think I agree with all of them except the Adams award for best coach to Bruce Boudreau of Washington. "Hey, Ovechkin. Get out there!" See? I could have done as good as he did.
SabreFaninNYC
That awards show on CBC was terrible last night. I mean, I am jonesing for hockey but that was interminable!
ZoomZoom18
Not really surprised by any of the winners on my end. Boudreau did a helluva job with the Caps this year.
