tomtucker
Since the edge is a smaller fit, does a size 60 compare to the old style authentic size 56....?
tomtucker
Hmm....guess noone has seen that size jersey, perhaps someone at icejerseys can tell me if a size 60 edge is an "old" size 56?

I've got two size 60 and think that they are comparable in size... If I have batteries in my camera, I'll take a pic for you... Check back. Duke
You can't see much of the jersey underneath, because they are almost exactly the same, thats why I took the pic of the sleeves. If you liked the wear of a 56, you definitely want an edge 60. The sides are a little smaller with the taper, but you will not like any other size. http://www.freeimagehosting.net/image.php?256bb657d4.jpg http://www.freeimagehosting.net/uploads/beee926170.jpg http://www.freeimagehosting.net/uploads/4a2bd5e2cb.jpg

Duke
No problem, also, I'm sure you'll run into only being able to find the size 60s in certain places so good luck with that. The good news is several end up on ebay so you should be able to come out ahead.

Yeah, it´s not like i am obese..............i just like the loose fit....and also have the same size the players wear, i wonder if most players that wore 56 before have swithed to 60 now......a shame i don´t have any players home phone number, so i could call and ask..... . But what about the edge 2.0 i have heard about, they are different then the first batch of jerseys, right? . But the fans that buy these edge jerseys, will be buying the edge 1.0......?...... madflava
So is the general rule of thumb is to add 4 to the CCM size that you wear for authentics. So if I wear a size 48 CCM then I should get a 52 Reebok Edge. Wondering if someone who wears a 48 on these boards has bought an authentic Edge yet and what size did they get. Brilliant!
I do wear the 48s. I HAD an authentic All-Star jersey size 46(that was all they had at the time) and it was TIGHT. Tight in the chest, shoulders and arms.

I wear a 48, have bought both a 50 and a 52, the 50 actually fit me a little better. Best bet though is if you have any local shops that sell authentics to go and try one on. I tried on a 56 in the Edge jersey today and thought it was a tad smaller than I care for, so I'm thinking of a 60 myself. Unfortunately, there were no 60s available to try on, so I have to go off of threads like this one.
conshok26
I'm looking to get the new Sabres third jersey. I have a few of the CCM replicas and for those I wear a XL. If I want it to fit similar to that what size should I go for?
JustAnothaVictim
I'm looking to get the new Sabres third jersey. I have a few of the CCM replicas and for those I wear a XL. If I want it to fit similar to that what size should I go for? It's really hard to tell since the Premier Replicas and Authentic Edge jerseys have a complete different cut. I'd say, if you get a replica, stick with size XL. If you're planning on getting an Authentic, try size 54 or 56. It also depends on how you want the jersey to fit you and if you have the opportunity to try 'em on in a store, that would be the best help for your decision.
