Customizing Vintage Replicas

Im new here, but I've been lurking for a few weeks. The key theme I see in customization here is accuracy, whether it be in the material or the history. That leads me to this question. When it comes to customizing vintage replicas, what's the general consensus? I know as the buyer it's ultimately up to me, but the last thing I wanna do is buy a 45 Vintage Blackhawks jersey and put Keith on it as he was never in one (AFAIK).

I suspect you've just answered your own question - if it's the last thing you want to do, don't do it.

If you don't mind and that's what you want, regardless of what others think, do 'er to 'er.
