Edge 2.0 Neck Tagging

Forgive me if this has been asked and answered but I couldn't seem to find it with the search feature search.

I know that there was some discussion of the model number 7187A vs. 7187H and the consensus seems to be that A is for size 54/56 and smaller and H appears to be for size 58/58+/60. I'm wondering if that issue has been laid to rest for good?

In addition to that, I was wondering if there was a rhyme or reason why some of the size hang tags have a CCM logo and others don't in the same run of jerseys.

For instance -

http://www.yoursportsmemorabiliastore.com/marc-savard-boston-bruins-game-worn-jersey

If you look at the close up of the sizing/hang tag for Savard's size 54, it includes a CCM logo, but in Krejci's 56 there is no CCM logo on the size tag.

You can find additional examples where larger sizes do have the CCM logo - http://www.avshockeypodcast.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/06/Scott-Parker-2006-2007-white-Avs-game-worn-neck-tagging-detail-600x450.jpg

And don't - http://www.avshockeypodcast.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/08/Scott-Parker-2008-2009-Preseason-white-Gamer-neck-shield-600x450.jpg or http://www.avshockeypodcast.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/05/Adam-Foote-2010-2011-White-Set-3-neck-tagging-and-C-600x450.jpg

(Many kudos to the great avshockeypodcast - I think he's a member here?)

Anyone know why this is case?

In response to your first question, almost certainly yes. I've yet to see a 58 or larger Edge shirt be tagged anything other than H.

As for the branding, there doesn't really seem to be any rhyme or reason to whether or not a shirt is going to have the CCM tag or just a plain Canadian flag tag. I've seen 7287 shirts with and without (all team stock). I've seen Reebok 6100 shirts with and without (all team stock). I've seen retail 7187s with and without. The only trend I see is that retail 6100 shirts have never shown the CCM branding, the tags are always just the flag (which is consistent with the old CCM/KOHO shirts, as they never had the brand in the tag).

If I have anything to say about it, it seems that they go with whatever tags they have made up at the time. It might be an issue of batches and which tags they make up for the batches. But, like your Winter Classic comparison shows, this stuff happens within set and even within game (granted, they wore different shirts each period, they could have been made in different batches).
