sungod661 Posted June 13, 2011 Report Share Posted June 13, 2011 well i unfortunately classic has grown by leaps and bounds and with that comes a little less attention to detail. Classic is a great auction house the owner Marc Juteau is areal good guy. Unfortunately in the last 3 auction there have been quite a few questionable jerseys go to auction and even a few of them sold for some major money. I also collect baseball jerseys and if any one else does they can tell you the story of LOU LAMPSON who would authenticate a dead squirrel as a gamer which led to a large amount of crap on the market. To be fair i have never seen Classic keep a jersey on the auction when someone has voiced issues with the jersey but as long as no one says anything the jersey usually does get sold. I guess the message is do your homework i have a few friends that are experts for certain teams and eras if i have a question about a hawks jersey i ask my hawks friend and so on. i stick to what i know which is early 90 and 80's habs jerseys. for anything else i ask people and get as many opinions as possible.
