NYIJM29
It looks like the Isles are staying on Long Island, in Uniondale! http://mobile.newsday.com/inf/infomo;JSESSIONID=50BC47B70F6B69FAF9B1.3089?site=newsday&view=islanders_item&feed:a=newsday_5min&feed:c=islanders&feed:i=1.2867713&nopaging=
DropkickMurphy8
I'll believe it when it's confirmed. Actually, check that. I'll believe it when I'm sitting in the new arena watching the Rangers beat up on the Isles
Brilliant!
That's a very good thing. The NHL can't afford to lose the Rangers-Islanders rivalry. It's one of the best and fiercest in the sport today.
NYIJM29
Definitely! The only obstacle is the August 1 referendum vote. Hopefully people buy into the fact that this will create jobs and vote yes. There will be a stream of the presser at 11 am on the Isles website (I think).
