Double tagging a jersey

I'm wondering if anybody has taken a jersey to an embroidery shop to have a second CCM logo and shield added ala Gretzky style? After I finish putting Gretzky on my all star jersey I would love to be able to add the second set of logo's to it. I'm thinking it might be a problem due to copyright issues but want to know if anybody had done it.

Well if you find someone can you share the info. I've been to five places and been refused.

I'm hoping someone would do it as a favour. I have a couple I'd like to embroider.

If only I had connections to those asian factories making all those fakes. I'm waiting for an authentic Rangers starter blank to come in I bought on eBay. It is a single starter logo that I'd love to make into a double. Those guys seem to not mind reproducing those logos ;)

Problem is that if word spreads about someone doing that, the info may fall into the wrong hands and the person may get busted for copyright issues.

I've been told that it's a copyright issue. I've tried to have several NHL-related items embroidered from a couple different places but they all said that they can't do anything that is officially licensed without expressed permission from the league.

You can alway learn yourself a new hobby and pick up sewing. :D , It might be very worth in the long run.

I sew the kits onto my jerseys myself but the logo's would have to be embriodered on. It's a little different then sewing.
