Mach_9
Garth from hockeybuzz.com has reported that several sources say Chicago and Buffalo will be completing a deal that sends Ales Kotalik (and possibly someone from Rochester) to Chicago for Brent Seabrook. The deal would be advantagious for both teams, though Buffalo seems to be getting the better end, in my mind as Seabrook is 21 and bound to be a star. Seabrook makes $920,000 vs Kotalik's $2.33M so the Sabres clear up cap space for Paille to come up along with Stafford who'd fill Kotalik's spot. Seabrook provides the toughness the Sabres are lacking. Chicago would put Kotalik with Havlat in hopes of putting together a strong first line. Still just a rumor, but it is confirmed that Chicago pro-scouts have been at the last 3-4 Buffalo games.
LordStanley1893
That would be a great trade for Buffalo. They pick up a blue chip defenseman without giving up much in return.

Finny
yes go for it! Spectacular move for Buffalo but Chicago wouldn't be getting robbed by it either.
