Little trivia question: Since the Leafs last went to a Stanley Cup Final in 1967, 23 of the other 29 franchises have played in a Stanley Cup Final. Brilliant! Posted May 8, 2008 Report Share Posted May 8, 2008 No big surprise here. You had to expect he was gonna go after the Leafs missed the playoffs for the THIRD STRAIGHT year. That's never been done in their history. Until now. I hear that Dave Nonis is their leading candidate for the new GM. As for trivia, it's fairly easy. They're all recently added/relocated teams.
