lafountain
I know Atlanta has some big time shot takers with Kovalchuk leading the NHL in Shots on Goal, but tonight Hossa had 16 shots while the Hurricanes had 17 as a team. Unfortunately for the Thrashers though only 1 of Hossa's went in and 5 of Carolinas did.
Mach_9
Hossa's been a favorite for a long time. When Ottawa had Havlat and Hossa I really liked them a lot. Hossa's the type of guy who has incredible talent, but I don't think will ever truly breakout. Even with 80-90 points the last few years he just doesn't seem to be reaching his potential yet. Yeah, he has always been a really good player. The guy is only 27 years old so he still has a bunch of good years left in him.

He definitly does, but I don't think we'll ever see his best performances. It just seems like he's got so much more bottled up in there.
