HawksFanInDC
Hey guys, sorry for posting this under NHL, but I know this forum gets more views. I was just able to snag this authentic USA jersey from Murf and Pat for $75. I want to turn it into a Roenick 2002 USA Olympic jersey. I have attached a couple pics of the fonts. Anybody know if the game worns had numbers that were layered or kiss cut? Air knit nameplates? Also, looking for an authentic IIHF patch from 2002 (see link), or a good repo. http://www.gamewornauctions.net/products/2002_Markus_Naslund_Team_Sweden_Olympics_Game_Worn_Jersey_Aftonbladet_Letter_Children_s_Cancer_Charity-3760-102.html Edited May 29, 2014 by HawksFanInDC
Brilliant!
They were stacked. The arm numbers were thicker and had a fatter bottom layer. Similar to what the Red Wings wore at the time...and I guess still wear now. Also, that was the last IIHF tournament that saw the big boys use sewn on nameplates.
