St. Patrick
I have a heritage style Leafs sweater and I dropped it of at a local cleaners. The sweater had the care label removed before I bought it off ebay. The lady said she didn't know how to clean it since it has the felt maple leaf on the front. My question is there a special way to clean it?
Sluggermatt15
I have a heritage style Leafs sweater and I dropped it of at a local cleaners. The sweater had the care label removed before I bought it off ebay. The lady said she didn't know how to clean it since it has the felt maple leaf on the front. My question is there a special way to clean it? Maybe you could try hand washing the jersey? I definitely would NOT put it in the washing machine. Actually dry cleaning was my initial thought as well. But if the lady at the dry cleaner's had no idea, then that's not good. So I would say either: 1. Wash it by hand 2. Call around to other dry cleaners. Tell them you have a sweater that has a felt crest on the front. Ask them how they recommend to clean items similar to it. They have to give you some sort of idea. I hope this helps!
