jukierules
Were the numbers on The Bruins alts in 98-99 kiss cut? Thanks fellas!!
AngeloS76
Yes they were. And from what I can recall before I sent it back, the white wasn't actually twill. It was screen printed (or something of that sort) with a thick Z-stitch over it. The picture is a little out-of-focus, but if you look closely you can see it. CJ Matthews
Can somebody explain to me what kiss cut means?

jukierules
Where did you get that done, Bruinsfan?
Brilliant!
Are you sure it's not a real thin layer of twill? Because I have a couple jerseys with that same style and the thread was just stitched over the entire piece of twill rather than along both edges. It gives it that embroidered appearance almost. AngeloS76
I got it done at Custom Crafted. And what makes me think it wasn't twill was a few spots of this plastic-like residue on the numbers and on a couple of the letters. I could be wrong but something tells me it wasn't twill. Brilliant!
Nah, that's definitely twill. I've seen that type of residue along the edges of single-layered numbers that I've put onto jerseys. That comes from the needle puncturing the twill right inside of the edge.
AngeloS76
Fair enough. This is what I get for trying to act knowledgeable.
jukierules
Hey, you answered my question perfectly!! Thank you so much for posting the pics too!!!
AngeloS76
And it's funny that we discussed this jersey last night... Kiss cut, white twill, tight Z-stitch over it on the numbers. The twill was definitely more noticeable this time around.
