slime
I've searched gettyimages, webshots and google images but I can't find any proof. Did Pavel Bure wear #9 for the Canucks? Reason being is I've just picked up an old CCM replica with BURE 9 on it.
slime
Actually it very well could be a #96 jersey. In the photo I can only see one number on the sleeve.

DaNoobie
the two numbers he wore with the Canucks were #10 and #96 I think he wore #9 with the Rangers though
ewillia8
That is correct, he wore #10 and #96 with the Canucks, #10 with the Panthers and #9 with the Rangers. That jersey would have been used from 1995-97 before the switch to the Orca design when Bure went back to #10. It is also accurate with the "A" as it should not appear on any Bure "Skate" jerseys with the #10, only #
slime
Thanks guys. This must be #96 jersey. I didn't bother to ask, it was so cheap I just used the Buy Now feature before anyone else had the chance. That's great though, I use #96 as my inline hockey number and have always wanted a Bure jersey. I never thought one would show up for so cheap in NZ though. It cost me about $13 US. The only problem is that it's a Medium, I don't really like using anything smaller than Large, but I can under special circumstances... hah. Carl
Great article on numbers in hockey: http://hockey-blog-in-canada.blogspot.com/...o-you-wear.html
Brilliant!
That is correct, he wore #10 and #96 with the Canucks, #10 with the Panthers and #9 with the Rangers. Argh. I still take exception to that. That was never his number to wear.
