christinam
so I recently bought a Red Wings "VK/SM Believe" patch that the team wore during their 97-98 season and would like to put it onto my Wings jersey. The jersey is a CCM one. how would i put this patch on? can i sew it on/super glue it on or should i go to my tailor or something and get it professionally done? thanks for all the help. Brilliant!
Welcome! If you have no experience sewing, the best thing to do is to bring it to someone who does. Take it to a local sporting goods place or somewhere that does embroidery. It shouldn't cost you too much.
Crimson
Or anyone who has a sewing machine, too. I'm not an experienced sewing type person, but I've done every separate patch I put on my jerseys using my wife's sewing machine.
DerbyCoyote
Digging up an old thread. When you guys sew on a patch, how do you hold it in place to begin with? Bit of adhesive?
Crimson
Depends on the patch. If it's thin enough, I'll just pin it in place. Otherwise, hot glue works just as well for a temporary hold.
