Actually that's a bit fuller / better laid out than I imagined ... I guess that makes me a pessimist.

That is a pic from the expo a few years ago. I remember last year's being less full.

Imagine that now with only 1 dealer instead of the usual 2-5. Not sure about the collector's tables as Barry hasn't released any details about who is attending.

I know from this forum Mike and I will be there with a table. Not sure if anyone else has one.

P.S. I just acquired a fine addition to my table. A grail of mine for sure....

Sounds like the highlight of the expo aside from the HHOF Gretzky display.

Not too excited about the posted sale terms.

Are this year's sale terms significantly different than past years? Could not find them on the MGG site or their FB page. Can you post?

Basically NHL jerseys are BOGO or only 40% off instead of 50% if you only want one.

Since their Rangers stock is so dried up, there is very little that I am interested in to begin with.

Looks like I can potentially be saving a lot of money this year. I may end up just getting a GI as they are now 30% off instead of 25%.

So am I allowed to use my $25 gift card or not?

ANY ATTENDEE WHO OPENS HIS OR HER GRAB BAG AT THE EXPO WILL ALSO RECEIVE A $25 GIFT CERTIFICATE TO BE USED LATER THAT DAY AT OUR WAREHOUSE.

Maybe they mean you can use it at the warehouse but not later online.

That's what I was thinking.

I can't believe it's BOGO or 40%. Usually that is a November move.

Exactly. Always something to make it not quite as good as expected. The best sales were 2007-2009 or so. EVERYTHING, including GI, pre-season, etc.... was 50% off. Oh do I wish I had bought some more stuff back then!

They contradict themselves all the time. I remember when they had the grab bag that you could trade back in for credit, they originally advertised the credit as being usable during sales, but then when they released the sale info it said no grab bag credits, which was of course wrong.

I saw the terms of the summer sale last night on gw.net. Pure weak sauce and the BOGO offer is only good to those who already have deep pockets. That 40% instead of 50% off threw me a curveball with my budget but I am still good for at least 1 nice jersey, but just sucks I have to now pay a little more than I hoped.

Don't worry if the summer sale doesn't move as much jerseys as they hope they would then Barry can just do another grab bag.

Try to find someone who's only buying one jersey and team up with them... since its BOGO you could probably work it out and save yourself a bit more money (if you're looking for jerseys that are similarly priced).

I'll try to find someone to do that and see how it works. The one I am targeting is in the $750-1000 range so might be a bit of a long shot. Still this is a hassle and liked it a lot better when it was 50% off.

Well the BOGO instead of 50% off is only going to cost me $50, but I'm definitely not happy about it.

The thing that irks me is that their sale prices are $25-75 too high (sale price -- 50% off). So I was hoping with the gift card, it will neutralize the difference to just suck it up and buy. But now, I dont want to buy. I want the jersey, but what good is it knowing I will definitely lose at least 20% of the jersey cost if i go to sell? Not only that, the flip side is that Id be better off spending the money elsewhere and could get something nicer for what Im shelling out.

So I got an Islanders Nokelainen 06-07 training camp jersey in the Grab Bag (size 56).

Greg is there (he picked it up for me) so if anyone wants it or wants to trade for it. Let me know!
