villavelocity
Should be interesting what the HABS do now that Price is playing like he belongs in the show. We have so much depth @ the position: Carey Price - CHL Goalie of the YEar Cedric Desjardins- ECHL Goalie of the Year Yann Danis ... might be on the outside looking in Jaroslav Halak - #1 goalie in the AHL before his call up Cristobal Huet Im picking Hamilton in

villavelocity
AHhh..they had written in a paper up here that he had won ECHL goalie of the year. You should hear the discussion on Montreal Sports radio..They are talking about packaging Huet w/ Kovalev and or Samsanov...I dont believe any of it! Regardless of his current tour de force PRICE neds a full season in The A to get comfortable with travel, lifestyle and the day to day grind of ProHockey. He also needs to play..which he wouldnt do with a healthy Cristobal Who does Hershey have in goal?

He has played well so far posting a 2.27 GAA which is only slightly worse than the 2.13 that Price has put up for Hamilton in the playoffs. lafountain
Game 1 has ended. Hamilton wins 4-0. Price turned away 46 shots taken by Hershey. Hamilton was 3-6 on the Power Play.
villavelocity
That Sloan hit on Gabrovski ( or was it D'Agostini?) was dirty...What a cheap shot. No wonder the guy is playing in the AHL and not "the Show" Bulldogs look great.Price was so calm in the crease.
lafountain
Game 2 is in the books. 4-2 in favor of Hershey tying the series at 1. Hershey still getting tons of shots on price by putting 40 on net in game 2. Hamiltons Power Play not nearly as effective as it was in game 1, this time going 0-9. lafountain
Game 3 goes to Hamilton 5-2 to put Hamilton up 2-1 in the series with Hershey. Hershey just loves to shoot the puck, putting 40 of them on net today. In 3 games that gives Hershey 126 shots on goal, though only 6 have managed to get by Price. Hamilton's Power Play got working again as they went 3/6 on it tonight.

JeffB
This is going to be over before I have any time to devote to it. I know there's one game left, but before I can learn the players and perhaps any rivalry aspects of the series, it might well be done. Strange that the minor league playoffs would last longer than the NHL too. Don't get me started on the fact the NHL should be done by Memorial Day in the first place... JeffB
Holy hell was tonight's game 4 entertaining. It was Old Time Hockey with feisty, scrappy, ornery play on both sides in what should be renamed the Checking From Behind Hockey League. And did you see that insane save by the Chicago goaltender? The arena horn even went off because everyone thought it was going in! But no, he saves it with his arm and pulls it into his body. Speaking of Old Time Hockey, what's with all the 70's p*** star mustaches on Chicago? Rockin' dudes. Do yourself a favor and watch the next game between these two. It ain't no NHL, that's for sure. Dasle
It makes me sad how eerily similar both cup series were, with the Pens losing each
