KStucker31
I'm sure this topic isn't a foreign one to a decent chunk of the posters on here. Have you ever had a hard time determining whether or not to sell a jersey worn by your favorite/one of your favorite players? My "holy grail" jersey arrived today - a 2000-2001 white Joe Sakic Colorado Avalanche game worn - and it's made me consider selling my other Sakic gamer, a game issued/event worn Edge burgundy (my least favorite Avs jersey scheme) from his final season. The white gamer was pricey, so selling the other jersey to recoup about a third of the cost of the white gamer is an attractive option. I just seem to be having difficulty figuring out whether that's what I want to do. Money (which I could make work without selling the game issued) definitely plays a role, but the whole collecting ideology seems to be tellingly my bank account to shut up. Anyone else run into this problem? I'm not sure what I hope to achieve with this post, but figure "talking about it" might help. After all, addicts usually get the best help from other addicts. lfcjari37
If you're fighting yourself on this one, only do it if you really need the cash. Otherwise you will kick yourself later, as I have found.

brandon
Are you looking for a #40 Skrastins Preds jersey or ? If you sell the Sakic, you'll have more than enough to bid on the one I am selling! Now that's advice you can use!
akteon
Meh its only money. In the end the only thing you have to worry about is regret. Will you later regret selling it, regardless of the money?
The Next One
A GI or event worn jersey isn't close to being a gamer in my mind. I'd sell it but you probably won't get as much as you think you will for it.

If you sell the Sakic, you'll have more than enough to bid on the one I am selling! Now that's advice you can use! Actually, no I'm not. I have the white game-worn No. 40 from his first season (a jersey that finally has an accurate nameplate after more than five months of issues with a particular official jersey shop). I'm looking for an Avs gamer. My signature picture shows some of the jerseys I own, not a continuation of my want list. I should edit in a break of some kind to avoid conclusion. It's essentially a customized retail authentic, so you'll probably only get $150 for it max unless you find one dumb bidder to overpay.
