When you get it, feel free to post a closeup so we can see the textures and other details better. Worst case scenario, you've got a patch that looks incredibly like an original, for next to nothing. To me they look fine and are on the spot. The first one is a black NHL 2000 patch. The back of it is just like in the example that akteon posted on page 8. Also, the front looks good to me, but the stitching is a little scarce in some points. The other one is the Ducks 20th Anniversary patch. I got it from Sportsk, so it's from the National Emblem and I've read that those patches can be inaccurate sometimes. AngeloS76 Posted August 23, 2014 Report Share Posted August 23, 2014 NHL2000 patch: If it's got the typical glue backing with the threads underneath, then you're probably good to go. From what I've seen, the league had a whole buttload of those made that year. Ducks 20th: National Emblem makes most of the official patches for teams nowadays (as far as I can think of... all-star games, anniversaries, cup finals, cup champion/banners). It's the older patches that you need to be cautious about, because they didn't make those. As for the side-by-side, you're good to go. Those two line up near-perfectly (the weave of the twill goes in two different directions in the two pictures, but that is a pretty common occurrence for twill).
