Mnwildfan7000
Hello you crazy jersey collector nuts. I have an obscure question concerning letter sizes on nameplate's. What is the standard size most teams use for their lettering. I am leaning towards 3 1/2 inches for the height, but am confused by some recent lettering kits i have being under 3 inches. Can anyone shed some light? Thanks a bunch!
Kaiser416
leafs use 3 inches
Girouxsalem
For the Flyers current jerseys, they use 3 inch high and 1.5 inches wide letters (except for the "I")
Mnwildfan7000
Both those teams use single layer twill?
Girouxsalem
Not sure about the leafs, but the Flyers do
LAK74
Current Kings jerseys have 2-5/8" single layer letters except for the vintage purples, which are 3" double layer. The Kings used to use 3-3/8" letters on the 6100's, but I imagine they just scaled them down because the Edges just didn't have quite as much room on the back as the 6100's did, due to the slimmer Edge design. ic0dex
Also for the LA Kings: 1986-88 - single layer 3" 1988-91 - 2 layer 3" from what I've seen 1991-92 - 3 layer 3 3/4" 1992-98 - single layer 3 1/2"
