CJ Matthews
I was just looking through the Meigray website, specifically through the New York Rangers items, and I just couldn't seem to understand how they valued certain jerseys in comparison to others. Does anybody know how they come to determine what is worth what? Cause I just can't understand how a random Michael Del Zotto or Matt Gilroy Jersey can be worth over $1000 dollars and yet a Brandon Dubinsky jersey that he wore on his 100th game is only worth $800. Calciomania
i'm not sure, but i think it's because these are Rookie Season jerseys of this players...i wanted a Flyers Sbisa from his rookie season and it's also at this price range. also the islanders sold the Niederreiter Rookie jerseys for 1500$. The Gilroy jerseys from this season were sold at Steiner for 650$, and Steiner prices were at most players higher this year then the prices from meigray last year. Burnaby Joe Sakic
I have no idea how they decide the prices either. Some of it's due to demand and some of it makes no sense at all. Being an Avs fan, it has never made any sense to me why Wojtek Wolski's non-rookie jerseys are priced the exact same as Milan Hejduk's jerseys from the same era. There's no reason why this should be. Bohonos14
Nothing against Meigray. I really do love em, but 1500 for Brunnstrom? I thought that was redicky doo when they first posted them. Wonder how long those will be up there at that price lol. Either way, some of their pricing has always confused me while some seems (to me) just about right on. But, like collectors, they are their jerseys so they can charge what they want. Big A HG
I'm an avid North Dakota jersey collector, and browse Meigray from time to time, and below-average Sioux player jerseys seem to go for more than your Average Joe's jerseys. North Dakota players tend to be more collectible because they have a strong backing, and I wonder if where the player came from is part of their "equation". akteon
Here's a question, how do you say "MeiGray" ... I've always wondered. Is it "My" + "Gray" or "Me" + "Gray"? I guess I could call them and hear what they say on the phone (all my dealings with them have been online) but what fun would that be? DaNoobie
could also be may-gray but personally I've always said my gray in my head, though comes to the think of it thats probably incorrect in terms of wacky English pronunciation rules
mlaval
It's "My Gray" apparently.
Brilliant!
It is My-Gray because Barry's last name is pronounced My-ZEL.

Big A HG
I remember back in the day when I was still in school we learned that in most cases, if there are two vowels next to each other in a name, it's typically pronounced like the strong version of the second letter. MeiGray would be like mIgray (or mygray). Heidi is another name example.
DropkickMurphy8
I love how every thread manages to get off topic and it's ok, but when I post my opinion about something, the forum police get on my case. Gotta love the internet.... even though i have been here for the better part of 24 hours, we're going to have to ask you to keep the thread on topic and not go off topic about how when you go off topic you need to get back on topic. Also going to need a cover letter on that TPS report from now on, I can send you that memo again if you'd like.

Gotta love the internet.... Seriously you're whining about that? There are are a couple threads that pretty much drive this forum, the "it arrived" thread, the "is it good" thread, and the eBay thread. There are many members (and lurkers) who only come to the board to read those threads. Obviously people can post opinions - it was that you wanted to argue/debate in that thread. I don't know where the persecution complex comes from where you think everyone is out to get you, that all sellers are crooks, being outbid means you're a victim of someone's "rage" bidding, but please understand it won't get you far. The last guy who started up the whole "the forum police are out to get me" routine eventually earned himself a ban from the boards. From one Ranger fan to another, please just take a deep breath and calm down a bit if things work you up - there's no conspiracy (until Fire Boudreau makes one up as his new IJ meme).
