Bears1000
I was wondering when did the Blackhawks switch from Ultrafil to Air-knit. I tried seaarching on the forum, but I didn't find anything. I heard a couple of different years, and I was wondering if anyone knew they switched. Brilliant!
1993-94 was the last year for ultrafil in Blackhawkland. P.S.: Maiden rules.
Bears1000
1993-94 was the last year for ultrafil in Blackhawkland. P.S.: Maiden rules. So that means every player wore air-knit in 1994-95? I was looking to customize my CCM Air-knit with Roenick and the alternate captain patch. Up The Irons! Bears1000
This might help: http://www.gameworn.net/project/blackhawks.html Does knit mean ultrafil?
Brilliant!
Yeah usually. I see a lot of places use 'knit' in place of ultrafil. I guess because it's a tighter knit.
HawksFanInDC
Yeah usually. I see a lot of places use 'knit' in place of ultrafil. I guess because it's a tighter knit. Guys, I know this is an old thread but I had a question. the following link to gameworn.net http://www.gameworn.net/project/blackhawks.html does not say air knit or knit for 1993-1994. Does that mean they wore both that year? A member is selling a red air knit he says is from 93-94 but I thought they were still Ultrafil that year. Went to drop the pucks http://www.dropthepucks.com/sotg/Chicago.htm and they have a 93-94 pre and regular season on there as being air knit. Any help clearing this up would be appreciated. Actually dropthepucks.com has 93-94 ultrafil jerseys, right? I have never seen an air knit from 93-94, only ultrafil.
Brilliant!
Yeah; the switch was made during the lockout year in 1995. That was the first time they wore air-knit. Prior to was ultrafil.

Yes: I meant they were Ultrafil. I had always thought they were Ultrafil as well, but thought I would check since the guy who said air knit knows his stuff.
