NYIJM29
I know for sure I will wait to buy my Penguins WC jersey after the game is played. Not entirely for my reasoning though - mostly because the prices will go down after the game. What do you guys think? You are absolutely correct. I bought my Flyers WC for dirt cheap over the summer. notgewdathockey
Does anybody know if the lettering and numbering top layer is cream or white? I've seen both colors used in pics. My Jerseys
Brilliant!
Hey, how come you add your collection in every post? You could just edit your profile to put it to your signature and this way it'll come up with every post instead of doing it manually. Brilliant!
No worries. I was just making sure you knew. It looks like you got it now so you're good to go!
jerseymikea
If you're talking about the Modell's link I would say $160 for a customized replica is about average. Plus they are giving free shipping on orders over $49, so that's free shipping. I don't think $160 is terrible, but it's not great either. But hey I bet that's in the range of what most retailers will charge. Official supplier of the WC....I was in the D I C K ' S store yesterday and NOTHING! I checked their website and found.... http://www.dickssportinggoods.com/product/index.jsp?productId=10928819 Authentics! with actual numerical sizes.... Disengage
You guys can call me crazy, but I kind of don't understand why people are currently buying the WC jerseys for 2011. I know they have been released and are currently on sale. But what if some of the popular players don't play in the game for some reason - they get injured, etc. Then, technically it kind of looks funny wearing the player's jersey who actually didn't play in the game. At least IMO this would take away some of the "authenticity" of the jersey. I know for sure I will wait to buy my Penguins WC jersey after the game is played. Not entirely for my reasoning though - mostly because the prices will go down after the game. What do you guys think? Well the Caps are wearing it again in February. If Backstrom doesn't play in the WC, I can just strip the patch off.
notgewdathockey
Does anybody know if the lettering and numbering top layer is cream or white? I've seen both colors used in pics. My Jerseys I need help with the Pens WC from 2011. Is the top layer cream or white? The unveiling pics sure make them out to be cream but most sites show white. Robert Ullman
Pretty sure it's cream. I ordered a replica from IJ right after Thanksgiving and the crest is all cream-colored felt (niiiice!). "Vintage White" is the official name, I think.
