mlaval
I have a few three blocks CCM with NHL shield Rangers (1990-91 to 1995-96) jerseys that I am about to customize. I would like to customize them with the NHL 75th anny patch (91-92) and the Stanley cup 100th anny patch (92-93). However, I am unsure if the material with which the jersey were made match these years. 1. Did the material used ever change for Rangers jerseys from (1990-91 to 1995-96). From the gamers I have seen it does not look like it… 2. If so any precisions on what it looks like? Here is the material used for my jerseys: http://s973.photobucket.com/albums/ae220/mlaval6/Rangers%20Jersey/?action=view¤t=Rangers6.png&newest=1 The holes are much bigger on this Rangers jersey compared to the ones on this CCM Panthers Jersey (1993-94 to 1995-96): http://s973.photobucket.com/albums/ae220/mlaval6/?action=view¤t=FakeOrReal2.png&newest=1 I would really appreciate if someone could help me on this and possibly name the jersey material by their appropriate names. Thanks!

mlaval
I recently acquired a Rangers jersey from DaNoobie and I am trying to date it exactly. The Rangers wore the "NEW YORK" style up until 1986-87 and the CCM logo embroidered onto right tail of the jersey. This logo appeared only in 1986-87 (thanks to Brilliant!'s guide). However the material of the jersey is clearly Air-Knit. Which does not make sense to me... The size 46 is written with a pen on the tag. Here are pictures for DaNoobie's listing (DaNoobie: Hope you don't mind if I use them here) http://kevin.hwang.tw/For%20sale/Authentics/80s%20Rangers/Rangers.JPG http://kevin.hwang.tw/For%20sale/Authentics/80s%20Rangers/Rangers2.JPG http://kevin.hwang.tw/For%20sale/Authentics/80s%20Rangers/Rangers3.JPG http://kevin.hwang.tw/For%20sale/Authentics/80s%20Rangers/Rangers4.JPG Does anyone have an idea about the story behind this one? Thanks for your help!
xcdude
Pretty sure the Rangers used Mesh on ice, but the retail authentics like that one where air-knit.
Brilliant!
It's a retail jersey from when CCM did the whole league but while the Rangers still wore Cosby's jerseys. It's also 100% genuine.
mlaval
Thanks for the info! I never doubted about DaNoobie's jersey authenticity. I was mostly wondering if it was some kind of prototype. But thanks for the help from both of you!
