St. Patrick
I'm having a terrible decision on who to put on my authentic Wild Pro-Player. I was wondering if I should go with Dwayne Roloson (even though he didn't play for the Wild until the 2001-02 season), or go with Wes Walz. I was leaning more towards Walz since he played for the Wild in their inaugural year. I know that the Wild never wore the Pro-Player jersey's since they went out of business before the Wild played. But I figured to keep the time period some what correct, I was thinking of going with Walz. Opinions needed!
akteon
Personally I'd go with Walz or someone else from the inaugural roster. Is it an authentic or replica? I'm no where near as picky with replicas. Final disclaimer, it's your jersey, pick who you would enjoy the most
JeffB
Choices from the first year are Gaborik #10, Gaborik #82, Walz #37, Hendrickson #14, Sekeras #77. Personally, I'd go with Walz. He ruled and you might get to add an "A" and certainly a "C". Same with Hendrickson.
St. Patrick
Akteon, it is in fact an authentic. Thats why I was having such an issue trying to make the decsion. JeffB, I was thinking of the rotating "C" as well. Both of you guys just helped me go with Walz. I'll be dropping it off either Wed. or Thurs. JeffB
Excellent. I can only hope my respect and admiration for Wes Walz and the 100% effort and tenacity he put forth while with the Wild comes through in this post on my blog. Shenanigans
If it were me, I'd go with #2 Willie Mitchell. But Wes Walz is certainly a great choice, he would have been my second choice.
rabinsurance
The authentic Pro Player jerseys are great. The white Wild, along with the H & A Columbus jerseys were produced in anticipation of the 2000-01 season, but Fruit Of The Loom pulled the plug on Pro Player, so they were never worn on the ice. But the Pro Player jerseys, both authentic and replica, were great while they were around. Good choice on Walz, BTW.
Sluggermatt15
Like the others said from above, go with a player from the inaugural team. If you can't find a player on there you like, then go with a player that wears your favorite number, the team's leading scorer, or the goaltender. I hope these ideas help! St. Patrick
Dropped it off today. I also had them throw the captain's "C" on as well.

St. Patrick
Where did you take it? Your favorite place in South Saint Paul. Unfortunately, they do the team jerseys, and that is where the Wild hockey lodge takes them. When I was in there, they where getting the team jerseys ready. St. Patrick
$75 for the kit, $5 for the "C" then the tax, so $85.
