KaneIsDirty
I was really board, so I decided to start looking at the new jerseys for some of my favorite players (I'm a Hawks fan) and I noticed that lots of the teams on shop.nhl.com had new practice jerseys and the old ones were on sale. I had no idea of this happening, nor have I seen any pictures from any teams training camp wearing them. I guess I will find out is these are the real deal on Sept. 18th when I go to the Hawks Training Camp Festival, but until then here are some pics. What do you guys think? St. Patrick
Those are pretty cool. I bought a MN Wild player worn one last season from my p.t. job. I thought that was cool, I can't wait to get one of these.
Shenanigans
I believe these are all with the new 2.0 fabric.
KaneIsDirty
After reading the description it doesn't look like the 2.0 Air-Knit fabric, but the Ultrafil polyester that is used on the 1.0's. The funny thing about this is that the NHL Research Development and Orientation Camp (yesterday) wore the old practice jerseys with the NHL shield. Shenanigans
Yeah I retract my earlier statement, I had bad information there.
mdwsta4
Those aren't the on-ice versions, are they?
Sluggermatt15
Anyone know if that's the cheapest place to get Blachawks practice jerseys? Or of any other places that would have them at a decent deal? SportsK has practice jerseys, but a pretty small selection. I was looking for a Blackhawks red one, if I can find it. Thanks to anyone who has any idea!
akteon
Well it's not much help to Sluggermatt since they don't cover the Black Hawks, but I've always thought MeiGray was a good place to pick up practice jerseys if you're into that sort of thing. They are the real thing (fight straps and all) and they are normally not much more than a retail replica practice jersey if you go with the ones not attributed to a specific player. KaneIsDirty
New post on Icethetics confirms the new practice jerseys (pics of most jerseys). http://www.icethetics.info/practice/ Edited August 20, 2010 by KaneIsDirty

Hey don't worry about it I just found where I can get a red 'Hawks practice jersey.
mdwsta4
mind sharing with the rest of us? Hey don't worry about it I just found where I can get a red 'Hawks practice jersey.
Sluggermatt15
mind sharing with the rest of us? Through a friend, actually. The jersey was game worn or issued, whatever you want to call it. Unfortunately, I picked up the last one.
tbird107
Does the Rangers using the Liberty Head design on the practice jersey mean it may come back as a game one? I don't follow NYR enough to know if they have been using this logo the whole time as a practice logo.
KaneIsDirty
They have been using that logo on their practice jerseys, so it shouldn't mean anything, but it is possible that they will use it on their new 3rd jersey.
xcdude
Nope Rumor is they are going back to the "NEW YORK" style as a third.
madflava
The Caps wore these jerseys for their scrimmages during rookie camp. One team wore red with grey and the other was white with red. They look pretty awesome. I also picked up some authentic training jerseys at their equipment sale. They were the old style training jerseys but I noticed they are made with a different material (maybe Edge 2.0) and they had fight straps sewn on to them. I'll post pics in the arrive section later. akteon
Interesting that the one on shop.nhl has the nashville 3rd jersey logo on it.. According to the icethetics blog, Nashville is moving to make that their new look: The indication from Reebok is that the Predators will turn the alternate jersey they launched this season into their new home sweater. The road sweater is listed as TBD but a safe assumption is that it will be a light version of the new dark jersey. Because of these major changes, the Preds will not wear an alternate uniform next season.
