Hexy4Prez
I am just curious - not looking to buy - has anyone ordered a customized AUTHENTIC from NHL.com? Are they pretty accurate with their customizations? I know the premiers they do is iron-on crap, was just curious if their authentics were any better... great1
I'm pretty sure the customization is the same as the premiers so I would avoid them and shop else where.
flountown
I have heard from others than an authentic jersey comes with proper customization. As much as we dislike NHL.com, I don't think they are stupid enough to allow authentic jerseys to go out the door with anything but stitched twill. HawksFan719
they suck, don't do it. even when they do layered twill they apparently can't get the font right, as I found out. you're better off getting a blank and sending it to IJ or somewhere. I bought an all star jersey from them years back.... They placed the all star patch and the team patch in the wrong place on the shirt and would not fix it for me... Never again!!!! Stick with Ice Jerseys!
LetsGoCaps
While I, too, am wary of nhl.com, I have purchased authentic jerseys from the nhl.com shop, and the customization was sewn correctly (two Caps red Edge 1.0's). If you look at the info on the website, it says that the replicas will be heat pressed, and the authentics will be sewn. I'm not necessarily endorsing them, but my experience with customized authentics was okay.
