Jersey is legit. I'm not an expert with Blue Jackets fonts so I can't comment on the accuracy of the customization though

I agree legit jersey. Customization looks spot on to me as well. Nice find if you can get it cheap.

Noticed a few Gretzky tribute NYR Starter jerseys and they've got an NHL crest and 'Starter' on both sides of the tail. Legit?

Don't know specifically which ones you're referring to, but whenever you see one (blue road jersey, that is) on eBay, it's almost certainly fake. From what I hear, it's one of the most commonly faked jerseys ever.

Yeah, it was just that - blue road jersey. Hadn't came across it before so thanks for the info man.

Instead of starting a new thread I'll just ask here:

Do you think it's acceptable to customise a jersey with your own name/number if it's only a fashion or practice jersey?

I wouldn't put it on an actual jersey, it's just that I have a Red Wings RBK name bar and numbers with nothing to do with them.

All/Any feedback appreciated.

How come it seems Premier jerseys have these slits at the bottom of the Jersey on each side? Authentics don't seem to have them.

I'll show you what I'm talking about:

That's just the way they make them. It's normal.

Kinda gay that it's supposed to be a "replica" but the Authentics don't have that?

Also what about the guy who asked a question before me? I'd like to know... what's a 'Fashion Jersey'?

I wouldn't put my name on any on ice authentics. I once owned a replica Kings jersey with my last name and #22. The reason I did that is because I played hockey in Ice-O-Plex in North Hills and that was the same arena the Kings practiced at in the mid 90's. So we would all ways talk to the players and ask for sticks and autographs, it was fun.

I just received my second Edge 1.0 jersey and had some questions. The sizing seems slightly different, a little tighter in the mid section, and I noticed on the neck collar of the jersey that the left is about half a a centimeter shorter than the right. Everything about the jersey including tags (it came in an authentic reebok bag that was completely sealed), material, and stitching seems authentic. Are these imperfections natural for authentics? It fits much different than my Canucks 1.0 jersey which doesn't feel nearly as tight in the midsection and is 100% symmetrical.

I'm not able to post pics of just the jerseys but if anyone wants to see a comparison of them on me just send me a PM

No worries, I'd definitely not do that haha. I've got a black Red Wings fashion but it's Pro Player and the name & numbers I have are for the Reebok jerseys.

The best thing the British Isles have seen is the Bruins playing in Belfast two years ago. Wish we'd embrace it more, would save a lot of pointless hatred (like bigotry) amongst football teams.

A fashion shirt is just a jersey made in the style of an actual jersey for fans.

Here's an example of one I have... unfortunately.

It's an obvious fake, everyone in LA knows the Kings are from Sacramento.

That Ebay jersey finally came in the mail today. You guys were right, though I'm not surprised. It's a fake. At first when I was opening it out of the plastic wrap, I thought I might be in luck... but after that, it took me all of 5 seconds to realize it's fake.

But yep, it's pretty crappy. It was advertised as XL, but the tags say "52". I'm not sure, it might be too small for me as it is.

Only thing I like about it is that the logo and numbers are much softer than the premier I got. They aren't so hard and stiff.

It doesn't even have tags inside the jersey near the waistline. My premier has those. Perhaps Authentics are not supposed to come with them, I don't know. I'm talking about the tags that say "machine wash on cold" and all that.

The orange on the jersey is incredibly dull. It makes my eyes want to explode with boredom.

I got pics:

If you see it in person, the Oilers Team logo seems to have almost an oval shape to it.

Note the very poor NHL logo, with black coming out of the edges.

This fight strap is a joke. It's ridiculously small.

And look how stretchy it is.... my God.

PLEASE remember... I ordered this before I knew it would probably be a fake. At the time of ordering I had no idea jerseys could be faked so sleasy like this.

It's a legit 1.0. No worries there.

Awesome pictures of the fake. Really shows how bad it is. Wait til you see what you get from MeiGray to compare. And you somehow managed to sneak your foot into the picture, impressive!

Make sure you look carefully at the Oilers logo and everything else... you can actually see that there are some threads which connect letter to letter. Looks like they were trying to make some fancy handwriting :-p It's on the Reebok logo on the back as well. I'm also noticing that it doesn't say Reebok anywhere on the sleeves.

And yeah, I used my foot to hold down the jersey while one hand was pulling the "fight strap" and the other hand holding the camera.

I already see how much better my Premier is, and it's the same design as the fake. But from what I see so far regarding Edge jerseys, the team logos on the chest are much softer than on Premiers.

NOW... I am just unsure what to do with the fake Jersey. I'll admit, I don't really want it. I don't even think I'd wear it. But I do think it's sort of cool to own a fake jersey to keep for reference.

I paid $90 (shipping included) for the Fake. I will have to pay for shipping to send it back. My problem is that it's a big pain for me to send stuff back.

I'm thinking about asking the seller for a $40 or $50 refund. He absolutely knows I'm on to him. He played stupid when I showed him info on fake jerseys and said he's still 60% sure it's real. Now I see there is NO WAY he could have any degree of certainty that it's real. So he's messin with me.

Doubtful that I'd keep this jersey if it means I lose the full $90.

What do you think I should do?
