  1. It's not for me, but I have a contact for anyone who is looking to offload any CCM Vintage series jerseys - size 48 or 52... looking for the following: Montreal with lace neck Boston with lace neck Colorado Rockies Vancouver Toronto Philadelphia Minnesota North Stars LA St. Louis Vancouver NY Rangers
  2. 2 great choices and a nice looking jersey. I'd probably go with Larionov since it was his first NHL season, but you can't go wrong with either guy.
  3. Thanks, it's a new fav in my collection. Total one hit wonder! I actually sent Keener the playoff pics, but he does deserve the credit for doing it to a T. I'm very happy with how it turned out.
  4. I second this. Although I'd lean towards Beezer.
  5. An order from Keener came back today. The Carey is a new custom, the other 2 just got nameplate updates. The Crosby isn't matching swift material, which is a little unfortunate, but I can live with it. 1993-94 Carey rookie 2010 Vancouver Olympics Crosby Golden Goal 1991-92 Nolan
  6. Awesome find for a great price! I love those 90s IHL jerseys. Best of luck with the nameplate and patch hunt and I second it, that you've gotta do a Pokey Reddick.
  7. Another one I just found out about was the H within the Whalers logo. I never really caught it or looked for it before until recently it was brought to my attention.
  8. I'm looking for a home white early 90s Sabres ultrafil 52 and up, preferably blank.

    Jersey fabrics

Thanks for the reply, in hand it feels like a lighter cheaper ultrafil.

    Jersey fabrics

Old thread but a good place for this question. I have one jersey in my collection which I'm not sure what you would call the fabric. It's definitely not Air knit, ultrafil, mesh or swift. It's a mid 90s Bauer and it most closely resembles ultrafil, however the material is a lot lighter in thickness and weight. The outside of the jersey is smooth and coloured black, but the inside is white. The tag says 100% polyester. It wrinkles very easily. Is this superfil/double knit or what am I looking at? Here's a pic, you can see outside black and inside (around the collar area) white.
  11. ... about a year ago he had a guy doing CCM and NHL embroidery, but he said he stopped because of too many complaints from customers. Both the CCM and NHL shield that he was doing were noticeably smaller than what they should have been. Here's an example of the CCM that I had embroidered ... once I saw how it came out I didn't want the jersey anymore and sold it recently. I don't see them either. And all 3 of those Blues jerseys look amazing!

    It is good or not?

Another option for the black Nike is using an NHL shield patch, there are all kinds of sizes of them on ebay. You could just sew it on and have a customizer sew on a piece of twill cut to the exact size and shape of the Nike swoosh. A project I've worked on is a starter Blues jersey. It was an unbranded remake. I made the S* out of twill and sewed on an NHL patch I found on ebay. I think the NHL shield on the starter is larger than the NHL shield on a Nike, but there might be a size smaller out there. Another time, Keener sent a jersey of mine to an embroidery guy he has locally

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Pittsburgh-Penguins-Authentic-Pro-Player-Alternate-Third-Hockey-Jersey-sz-56/292463056809?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649 This doesn't look like a fake to me, but what is it? Going by the nhluniforms.com, the Pens started wearing these alternates in 08-09 and were Edge cut. This looks like a pre-edge cut. Maybe they wore it prior to 08-09?

    It is good or not?

The patches on it look repro to me from a distance, although the seller doesn't have close ups of them so I could be wrong. Also that fancy letter font was only used in the preseason of 91-92 while the 25th anniversary patch was only worn in the 1992 calendar year so both would not have been worn together AFAIK. There's other small inconsistencies between it and the other 91-92 Stars jerseys I've seen and own mainly with the logo and arm stripes. But inconsistencies could be the norm with the 91-92 Stars jerseys since it was the first year to transition to the new logo and color scheme.

    Looks authentic to me
  17. Is that MIC Pens a Rowney or a Crosby?
  18. A couple patches that's it
  19. Thank you @LAK74 for the extra details. I can't remember what the back looked like but if it's original all the better.
  20. Thanks guys, so looking back at the one I posted I wanna say it's an original? Regardless it's staying nicely affixed where it is!
  21. Can anyone show or explain the difference between a repro and original 2000 patch? I have a couple jerseys that need them and ofc I'd like to get original. Or even post a pic of an original vs. repro if possible. I guess I can start by posting the pic of the one I have and get comments and comparisons off of it too...

    DEALS AND STEALS

Borderline steal on a nice old ultrafil.
  23. Thank you. I'm on desktop, so I'll adjust!
