Looking for the CCM Heritage Sweaters

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone,

I'm looking to complete a set of CCM Heritage sweaters that were manufactured in the 1990's. I'm specifically looking for the CCM Heritage series sweaters with the shorter, square-style hem tag and the "Circa XXXX" embroidered below the tag. The jerseys are 70% acrylic/30% wool.

I've already picked up these:

Circa 1922 Hamilton Tigers

Circa 1923 Toronto St. Pats

Circa 1926 Portland Rosebuds

Circa 1926 New York Americans

Circa 1928 Boston Bruins

Circa 1930 Montreal Maroons

Circa 1930 Boston Bruins

Circa 1931 Philadelphia Quakers

Circa 1933 New York Rangers

Circa 1935 St. Louis Eagles

Circa 1938 New York Americans

Circa 1940 Chicago Blackhawks

Circa 1944 Montreal Canadiens

Circa 1949 NHL All-Star

Circa 1950 Toronto Maple Leafs

I'm still looking for the following:

Circa 1930 Detroit Cougars

Circa 1960 Montreal Canadiens

Circa 1968 Oakland Seals

Please let me know if you can help and I appreciate any leads.

Happy collecting!

Thanks for the link.

I do check eBay regularly. I did a little research and the new Reebok/Roger Edwards Heritage Sweaters are the 8100 series according to River City Sports.

The main reason that the new 8100 series won't work for my display is that they are cut shorter than the 3100 series. The NY Americans is the 3100 series and it will be the feature of my Original 6 display.

Please let me know if you come across anything.

Thanks,

Hey Casey.

Somewhere around here I've got a box of Heritage sweaters; I'll see if I can track them down in the next couple of days.

Nathan,

Thank you for checking. I appreciate it and look forward to hearing from you.

Take care,

Not sure if this one would suffice for what you want (3100 vs. 8100), but this Maple Leafs jersey is on ebay and is ending in about 1 hour (9:00 pm Central US):

Casey, if that is your NY Americans sweater in the picture in your post, I have a quick suggestion. Please do not use that type of wire hangar with that sweater. It will leave stretch marks in it.

Hey guys,

Thank you for the suggestions. I'm looking for the blue Maple Leafs sweater like the one in my first post.

The Americans jersey in the photo that I posted is not mine. The one I own is already on a mannequin in my basement. It's just waiting to be joined by the other sweaters in the exact same size.

After looking at the jerseys again last night, I believe the 8100 series size XL is smaller than the 3100 series size XL. Maybe if I go up to an XXL that will work. Does anyone have an 8100 series and might be willing to post the measurements - chest, length from back of collar to bottom hem, sleeve length, etc.?

Thanks for your help, guys. I really appreciate it.

Matt,

Thank you for the link. That is the new Roger Edwards series of Heritage sweaters.

I'm specifically looking for the 3100 Series Heritage sweater that was produced at the same time as the New York Americans sweater that I have to ensure they are all the same size.

Thanks again.

Is this one any closer? The image on the auction appears to be the same as the image you have in your post... however, the jersey in the auction is a Large, and I think you're looking for XL... hope we're getting warmer! Good luck

Oh I'm sorry, I apologize. I wasn't reading your above description very carefully. :glare:

But hey, if you eventually can't find that style you like (and I hope you do find it!), you have a backup with SportsK.

Nathan and HockeyMusic,

Thank you for the information. Not quite what I'm looking for, but I feel we're getting closer.

It stinks that I have to be discriminant on style and size based on the change between the 3100 Series and the 8100 Series.

Half the fun is in the hunt.

Happy collecting!

Did CCM ever make a Toronto St. Pats heritage sweater? I know they made a vintage St. Pats jersey, but I'm not sure if they ever made that one in the "sweater" variety.

Not sure how legit this place is, but I came across this link the other day

http://www.frozenpond.com/xcart/customer/product.php?productid=2573

I have that blackhawks sweater, but it's a CCM version from when they wore it in the mid 90's.

I can vouch that Frozen Pond is 100% legit, and run by class guys.

Up for air.

I'm still looking for CCM Heritage jerseys including those with the "Circa XXXX" stitched below the Heritage tag.

Please let me know if you have anything available. I'm especially looking for the Blackhawks barperpole, New York Americans and Boston Bruins.

Happy collecting!

I should have specified. I'm looking for size XL in the CCM Heritage 3100 series.

From what I understand, the "Circa XXXX" sweaters are one size fits all.

Also, I'm looking for the shorter CCM Heritage tag on the front hem.

Thanks.
