PenguinsChronicles.com
Hi everyone, I'm looking to complete a set of CCM Heritage sweaters that were manufactured in the 1990's. I'm specifically looking for the CCM Heritage series sweaters with the shorter, square-style hem tag and the "Circa XXXX" embroidered below the tag. The jerseys are 70% acrylic/30% wool. I've already picked up these: Circa 1922 Hamilton Tigers Circa 1923 Toronto St. Pats Circa 1926 Portland Rosebuds Circa 1926 New York Americans Circa 1928 Boston Bruins Circa 1930 Montreal Maroons Circa 1930 Boston Bruins Circa 1931 Philadelphia Quakers Circa 1933 New York Rangers Circa 1935 St. Louis Eagles Circa 1938 New York Americans Circa 1940 Chicago Blackhawks Circa 1944 Montreal Canadiens Circa 1949 NHL All-Star Circa 1950 Toronto Maple Leafs I'm still looking for the following: Circa 1930 Detroit Cougars Circa 1960 Montreal Canadiens Circa 1968 Oakland Seals Please let me know if you can help and I appreciate any leads. Happy collecting! Casey Samuelson Owner / Webmaster PenguinsChronicles.com - The History of the Pittsburgh Penguins
slime
Do you check eBay? Of course that is one of the best places to look. I saw a Detroit jersey like that last week or so. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...e=STRK:MEWAX:IT It's gone now unfortunately. Good luck! PenguinsChronicles.com
Thanks for the link. I do check eBay regularly. I did a little research and the new Reebok/Roger Edwards Heritage Sweaters are the 8100 series according to River City Sports. The main reason that the new 8100 series won't work for my display is that they are cut shorter than the 3100 series. The NY Americans is the 3100 series and it will be the feature of my Original 6 display. Please let me know if you come across anything. Thanks, Casey Samuelson Owner / Webmaster PenguinsChronicles.com - The History of the Pittsburgh Penguins
xcdude
I have the Canadiens one. Its great to wear just as a sweater. Got it at their team store too, when I didn't really know much about Jerseys. WAAAAAAAAAAY over paid haha.

plager8fan
Not sure if this one would suffice for what you want (3100 vs. 8100), but this Maple Leafs jersey is on ebay and is ending in about 1 hour (9:00 pm Central US): http://cgi.ebay.com/vtg-Toronto-Maple-Leaf...=item3a54838016
rabinsurance
Casey, if that is your NY Americans sweater in the picture in your post, I have a quick suggestion. Please do not use that type of wire hangar with that sweater. It will leave stretch marks in it.
PenguinsChronicles.com
Hey guys, Thank you for the suggestions. I'm looking for the blue Maple Leafs sweater like the one in my first post. The Americans jersey in the photo that I posted is not mine. The one I own is already on a mannequin in my basement. It's just waiting to be joined by the other sweaters in the exact same size. After looking at the jerseys again last night, I believe the 8100 series size XL is smaller than the 3100 series size XL. Maybe if I go up to an XXL that will work. Does anyone have an 8100 series and might be willing to post the measurements - chest, length from back of collar to bottom hem, sleeve length, etc.? Thanks for your help, guys. I really appreciate it. Happy collecting! PenguinsChronicles.com
Matt, Thank you for the link. That is the new Roger Edwards series of Heritage sweaters. I'm specifically looking for the 3100 Series Heritage sweater that was produced at the same time as the New York Americans sweater that I have to ensure they are all the same size. Thanks again. The image on the auction appears to be the same as the image you have in your post... however, the jersey in the auction is a Large, and I think you're looking for XL... hope we're getting warmer! Nathan
Casey, Here's what I have. No pics at this point; the camera battery is dead and I have no idea where the charger is. But these are the styles. XXL Ottawa Senators barberpole XL Toronto Maple Leafs (Ebbets Field Flannels, #10) royal blue (veined crest) XXL Toronto Maple Leafs white (veined crest) L Montreal Canadiens white (tall Vintage tag) XL NY Rangers royal blue XL Chicago Blackhawks barberpole ("circa 1940" chain-stitched under tag) M Toronto Maple Leafs royal blue (33-point leaf, tall Vintage tag)
HockeyMusic
Hey this guy has some of the Heritage jerseys for sale on eBay, check him out.... Heritage Jerseys (and other jerseys too)
PenguinsChronicles.com
Nathan and HockeyMusic, Thank you for the information. Not quite what I'm looking for, but I feel we're getting closer. It stinks that I have to be discriminant on style and size based on the change between the 3100 Series and the 8100 Series. Half the fun is in the hunt. Happy collecting! Sluggermatt15
Did CCM ever make a Toronto St. Pats heritage sweater? I know they made a vintage St. Pats jersey, but I'm not sure if they ever made that one in the "sweater" variety.

I'm looking for size XL in the CCM Heritage 3100 series. From what I understand, the "Circa XXXX" sweaters are one size fits all. Also, I'm looking for the shorter CCM Heritage tag on the front hem. Thanks.
